We have known Jorge and Vicky for two years and have only frequented their restaurant Mana. (It is one of our favorite restaurants in Volcan by far.) However, this past weekend we spent two lovely nights in the lodge enjoying the bed and breakfast there. Jorge is an excellent host and the accommodations in the rustic lodge are clean and neat. It is highly recommended in our estimation and we would give it a 5/5 stars!

Jorge, Vicki and their family are the best. This hotel is a place to have a wonderful experience, meet friends and just hang out.. They are a great addition to the Volcan experience and we are most blessed to have them here..

We had the best time ever! Jorge and Vicky are super hosts and make your whole experience enjoyable. I agree 100% with Angela Malek's comments about the atmosphere and accomodations; well worth your time and money.

Best hamburger in Volcan, fersure fersure. Jorge and Vicky rock with great food, great service and an attentive ear to suggestions.

This is the best hotel in Volcan by far. I stayed in the hotel over the course of almost a month and looked at other hotels and hostels in the meantime. What struck me was the simple beauty of the rooms and living spaces. Upstairs one can lie in the hammocks on the balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains, or downstairs rock in the rocking chairs and chat with other guests, overlooking the quaint front garden. The hotel owners really have made an effort to make this logding comfortable and aesthetic. The downstairs restaurant is becoming a local institution with live music on the week-ends and many locals whom I came to know and like. The new owners are extremely accomodating and friendly. Jorge lived in the States for over 20 years and speaks perfect English. This is small town mountain life at its best.
